Job Requirements USEPA licensed Lead-Based Paint Risk Assessor in New York State to perform risk assessments and inspections EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE: B.S., in Environmental Science or related science disciplines or High school graduate with a minimum of 2-4 years relevant work experience may successfully substitute for education requirements. Good oral and written communication skills. USEPA Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor License. NITTON/RMD Radiation training for the use of an XRF. Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Willingness/ ability to use tablet for field inspections. Job Responsibilities/Duties Job Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to: Perform XRF Inspections, lead risk assessments and record all data in an efficient and precise manner. Collect samples for determination of lead-based paint content. Assist in conducting surveys, preparation of abatement design and specifications. Assisting in report writing, including preparation of detailed logs and data summary tables. Position entails frequent travel throughout New York City and Long Island. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and good driving record required..
