Athenica’s environmental remediation services include determining the media and specific areas where remediation is required, identifying potential remedial alternatives (by media), and evaluating all appropriate mechanisms to properly address the contamination.

Once a remedial alternative has been selected, Athenica designs and provides oversight of implementation of the remedy, which may include directing the excavation of contaminated soils for off-site disposal, collecting confirmatory endpoint soil samples for laboratory analysis, and inspecting installation of vapor intrusion mitigation measures (e.g., vapor barrier systems, composite cover systems, active or passive sub-slab depressurization systems, etc.).

Upon completion of the remedial action, Athenica prepares reports and drawings to document the configuration and components of the environmental remediation systems, endpoint sample results, and volumes of soil removed.
