USEPA licensed Lead-Based Paint Risk Assessor in New York State to perform risk assessments and inspections

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE:

B.S., in Environmental Science or related science disciplines or High school graduate with a minimum of 2-4 years relevant work experience may successfully substitute for education requirements. Good oral and written communication skills.

  • USEPA Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor License.
  • NITTON/RMD Radiation training for the use of an XRF.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Willingness/ ability to use tablet for field inspections.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

Job Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:

  • Perform XRF Inspections, lead risk assessments and record all data in an efficient and precise manner.
  • Collect samples for determination of lead-based paint content.
  • Assist in conducting surveys, preparation of abatement design and specifications.
  • Assisting in report writing, including preparation of detailed logs and data summary tables.
  • Position entails frequent travel throughout New York City and Long Island. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and good driving record required..
