Job Requirements
USEPA licensed Lead-Based Paint Risk Assessor in New York State to perform risk assessments and inspections
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE:
B.S., in Environmental Science or related science disciplines or High school graduate with a minimum of 2-4 years relevant work experience may successfully substitute for education requirements. Good oral and written communication skills.
- USEPA Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor License.
- NITTON/RMD Radiation training for the use of an XRF.
- Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Willingness/ ability to use tablet for field inspections.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
Job Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:
- Perform XRF Inspections, lead risk assessments and record all data in an efficient and precise manner.
- Collect samples for determination of lead-based paint content.
- Assist in conducting surveys, preparation of abatement design and specifications.
- Assisting in report writing, including preparation of detailed logs and data summary tables.
- Position entails frequent travel throughout New York City and Long Island. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and good driving record required..
