A.J. Infante is a project geologist with advanced knowledge and understanding of subsurface investigation and remediation principals, methods, and techniques. Mr. Infante is experienced in performing and directing all phases of environmental assessment and remediation projects, including due diligence Phase I and Phase II investigations and advanced environmental remediation work for regulatory compliance projects. As an environmental consultant and project manager, Mr. Infante utilizes his exceptional communication skills to direct technical staff and subcontractors through project completion to achieve clients’ project goals. His management of numerous NYC Office of Environmental Remediation (OER) redevelopment projects has provided useful knowledge and insight for navigating E-Designation and Voluntary Cleanup Program requirements for Hazardous Materials, Air Quality and Noise regulated sites. He is experienced working with various regulatory agencies, including the OER, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) and Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). His work has included Spill closures, underground and aboveground storage tank removals, excavation oversight and in-situ bioremediation. Mr. Infante prepares remedial work plans, investigations, and closure reports to document remedial processes and controls as they apply to environmental media. He is responsible for designing and implementing waste stream characterization and disposal plans at redevelopment sites throughout the tri-state area. Mr. Infante’s knowledge and experience encompasses site characterization and remediation, hazardous materials management, health and safety concerns, field sampling oversight, data analysis, and report preparation. Mr. Infante is an OER Gold Certified Professional.
